- Pienza is located in southern Tuscany, in the Val d’Orcia region between Montepulciano and Montalcino.
- Traveling to Italy, it will be closest to fly into Florence or Rome. From the States, Milan tends to be the most reliable and manageable. You may take time to explore the lakes nearby!
- A rental car is recommended. Trains do not reach Pienza directly. A smaller car is more practical as many roads are narrow. Airport transpot is possible to arrange via most hotel.
- Regarding local travel, taxis are limited and ride share does not exist in the countryside. Shuttles will be provided for the events from downtown Pienza only. We are happy to add a shuttle stop if your location outside the regular stops permits and is arranged in advance.

Weather permitting, all events (hopefully) will be outside! Please bring a light jacket in case of bad weather.

It is also important to note that there will be uneven and grassy terrain. Choose your footwear accordingly.

are children allowed at the events?

All events are adults only. We kindly ask that your children do not attend.

If your children do join you in Italy, we can help facilitate childcare during the events.

will there be parking available at the events?

There will be parking available in downtown Pienza for the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks if needed.

Parking is very limited at the wedding venue. Please let us know if you plan to drive to the ceremony.

will there be options if we have dietary restrictions?

All menus will be nut free. Several vegtarian options will exist on the menu. Some gluten free options are offered by the caterer, but cross contamination may be present.
